I fall in love with people’s passion. With the way they light up when they talk about what matters to them. I fall in love with a colorful sky and the way the wind makes the leaves fall like rain. I fall in love with moments, when the song and the mood and the people are just right. I fall in love with books, with the stories that make me want to run out into the world and experience every joy and pain it has to offer. I have loved all these things without waiting for them to love me back, and you will be no different. If it is an unrequited, one-sided kind of love, I will appreciate you for the beauty you have brought into my life and remember you like a line from a book or a fading sky.
